Experience 5 days and 4 nights visiting the most spectacular locations in Northumberland. Learn about the history and heritage of the area, while improving your landscape and night photography. While improving your morning, evening, and night shooting, we'll visit the Alnwick, Dunstanburgh, Bamburgh Castle, and Hadrians Wall throughout our trip.
The morning will be filled with arrivals and introductions. In the afternoon, we'll depart to Bamburgh Castle to capture photos of the breathtaking sunset from the beach.
We'll start our day with a sunrise shoot at Beadnell, followed by breakfast. Next, we'll cross over onto the island, Lindisfarne, where we'll remain until sunset. Following our sunset shoot, you'll be free to enjoy dinner in the local pub(s) before departing for Seahouses.
The clocks will change overnight, so the morning sunrise photoshooot in Seahorses is optional. Follwoing breakfast, we'll depart for our morning boat trip to Farne Island (weather permitting) and an afternoon enjoyed at your leisure. That evening, we'll head back inland to Sycamore Gap and shoot star trails/Milky Way. Our trip will include a 25-35 minute walk each way over ground, which sometimes has wet and uneven ground in places.
After breakfast, we'll drive to Alnwick Castle and Warkworth Castle. That afternoon, we'll take a walk from Craster to Dunstan and stead past Dunstanburgh Castle, where we hope to catch another sunset. Following our last shoot, we'll have dinner in Craster or Amble.
Head out for a morning drive to St. Mary's Lighthouse, then head over to Tynemouth Priory and Castle, followed by Newcastle City Centre for Tyne Bridges and the Sage. Following our morning stops, we'll end at the railway station and/or airport to conclude our trip.
